Quadrant Resource & the UHRS Platform

So, you have explored the word of freelancing opportunities and are looking to do more. You may have found that most jobs are easy and can be done in the comfort of your home. A great opportunity that has been available for some time now is well known UHRS work. There are a few companies that allow you to utilize the UHRS platform to complete this kind of work. In my post we’ll take a look at Quadrant Resource and who they are, how to sign up and begin work on UHRS. I will provide a detailed description on the experience working for them so far.

Quadrant Resource specializes in data collection, management, and annotation. They are a crowd sourcing platform that provide direct access to UHRS. Check them out here: https://crowd.quadrantresource.com The sign-up process seems to be much easier than most competitors and I found the process to be very self-explanatory. Simply click sign up at the top of the log in page:

Once you have logged in you will be taken to your dashboard and asked to complete some profile information. You will need to sign the NDA, enter your profile info which consists of personal info, education, hobbies, work experience, certification uploads, and languages.

 

Next onto the payment section! You will be asked to provide your personal information here (make sure it matches with the previous profile info you just filled out) In this section you will choose your payment method (PayPal, wire, bank transfer, etc) and then complete your region-specific tax form. Generally, if you live within the US, you complete a W9 form and if you live outside the US you complete a W-8BEN form.

Once you are completed with the payment section you will be asked to complete a short assessment (which requires a score above 80%) These questions are basic fill in the blank English questions and are very simple to do. Don’t rush through it, take your time and you should be able to pass on the first time around (but in case you don’t pass you have 5 attempts).

When you are done with the assessment you get to create your UHRS account, the moment we all have been waiting for! Follow the steps listed on the page as they are really easy. But the short version; you will be given an outlook ID in red. Use that ID to create a new outlook account here: https://signup.live.com/. Once created just enter the same outlook ID in the fields to verify and receive your OTP. Check your new outlook inbox for the OTP.

Your registration with Quadrant is complete and you are now a registered user with them on UHRS. You can go here and click sign on with live ID to begin your work: https://prod.uhrs.playmsn.com/uhrs/ 

I have worked with Quadrant for a few months now and have not had any issues so far. They switched the payment methods recently and all I had to do was adjust my payment information to make myself “payable” in the system. Overall, I have had a good experience with the company and I recommend working with them to anyone reading this. Look out for more information to come on my other learnings.
